LEADERSHIP
The Church is currently led by a “Leadership committee”. We do not have a single minister or preacher. Each has volunteered to serve in this capacity and have been approved by the assembly to serve as Ministers of the Gospel. Once qualified Elders can be appointed (in accordance with Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Tim 3:1-7) then this form of leadership will be dissolved. DOCTRINE
Our principles (or doctrine) come directly from the Scriptures. We do not have a man-made charter or a “confession of beliefs” that guide us. For every doctrine we ascribe to, we have a biblical reference to back it up. Some of the early Churches of Christ followed the guideline of “where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent” (Thomas Campbell 1777 -1844).
