FISHERMEN This youth group ministry is designed for boys age 10-18 that participate in activities that assist in learning leadership skills and building Christian character. The Fishermen is designed to provide a means for teaching leadership skills to the young boys of the Church and the local community. It is also another forum for teaching Christian character to young boys and teens. This ministry engages the boys in activities and community service events that will instill confidence in their abilities to help others and allow them to experience the joy of giving to others. There are several goals that should be accomplished in this ministry.   1. To increase the confidence of the participants in meeting life’s challenges. 2. To help them develop the leadership skills that will make them more useful in the work of the Lord. 3. To open up doors of opportunity through community service activities and meeting other young boys. 4. To help develop a heart’s desire to serve God.
